Cassels + Youth Man - Monday 12th February - A co-headline date. Cassels are a duo of brothers, Jim and Loz Beck, who have been described as the "most ferocious thing to emerge from Chipping Norton" and have been praised for their blend of garge rock, nineties’ grunge and power-indie. Meanwhile Youth Man are a self-described "sex-punk" trio and have been proclaimed as the "loudest live band in the UK". Together this will be a co-headline show you wouldn't want to miss. The album has been described as "beautiful for it's capture of the human soul and spirit." Yes you read that right, and no, you shouldn't be worried. The Ramonas were formed back in 2004 and have become a successful band in their own right which is no surprise given their high energy performances that perfectly capture "the 1976 spirit." Citing bands such as Black Sabbath, The Stooges and Mastodon as influences and have been described as "an unearthly concoction of 60s garage rock and head-spinning psychedelia", it's no surprise that this band rose from Leeds' often disregarded underground scene. Unlike other hardcore bands in the scene, they like to take influence from other genres in order to show people that hardcore music doesn't have to be a certain way. As they put it: "We're just trying to make a sound that's really groovy, we write songs with bits that we would want to mosh too. We don't want people standing there waiting for a bit to mosh too, we want people to move and dance and mosh to the whole thing." This band was originally formed in 1981 then split up 7 years later, they then reformed in 1992 for another four years, and now they're back after reforming in 2012 originally for a one-off festival performance but decided to stay together for a few more shows. Oh, and they're also infamous for having food fights during their earlier shows. Free Throw - Wednesday 14th February -An emo/punk/rock band from Tennessee who took a "free throw" with forming this band. That sounds like a cheesy pun but that's actually the story of how they formed and where they got their name from. They are currently touring their second album, Bear Your Mind.
