The Lovely Eggs - Friday 9th February - A psychedelic punk due consisting of married couple Holly Ross and David Blackwell. The Lovely Eggs were formed in 2006 after Ross had taken a four year break from music in order to concentrate on her personal life and now both her and Blackwell are creating music that perfectly blends 60s psychedelic and punk rock with an attitude to match. They're currently touring in support of their album This Is Eggland due out later this month. They released their first single in 2014 and within a year they released their debut EP and were signed to Handsome Dad. This was followed by a tour slot in America, supporting Courtney Barnett and then releasing their debut album in 2016. Hollie Cook - Friday 9th February - The daughter of The Sex Pistols drummer, Paul Cook, Hollie Cook has been the backing vocalist of punk/reggae band The Slits as well as releasing her solo material with her third album, Vessel of Love, being released on January 26. Her influences range from Janet Kay and Phyllis Dillon, as well as 1960s girl groups. She has described her music as being "tropical pop". Vuur - Tuesday 6th February - A Dutch progressive metal band featuring vocalist, Anneke van Giersbergen, who wanted to form the band to unleash her heavy metal side as opposed to her softer side that she shows in her solo material.
